Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Doctelligent AI, LLC ("we", "us"), which runs Doctelligent at doctelligent.ai. By creating an account or using Doctelligent you accept them. If you use it for a company, you accept them for that company.

What Doctelligent does

You upload bank statements and receipts, and Doctelligent reads them so you can review them and download them:

• Statements: their transactions and balances, as Excel, CSV, QuickBooks Online, Xero or OFX files.
• Receipts: their merchant, date and amounts, as an expense report (Excel, CSV, or a zip with the receipt files). Doctelligent also links each receipt to the statement transaction that paid it, when it finds one.

Check your results

Doctelligent reads statements and receipts automatically, and it can get things wrong: a misread amount or date, a missed or doubled transaction, a wrong balance, a wrong expense category, or a receipt linked to the wrong transaction. The app runs checks (whether a statement's balances or a receipt's amounts add up) and marks what it trusts. Even a statement or receipt marked verified may still have errors the checks can't see.

You're responsible for checking results against the original statement or receipt before you rely on them, and for what you do with them. Doctelligent is a data entry tool. It isn't accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and it doesn't replace an accountant's review. Whether an expense report meets an employer's or a tax authority's rules is up to you.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for what's done with your account. Give us a working email address, since that's how we'll contact you. You must be at least 18 years old.

Your content

Your statements, receipts and the data read from them stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you (see the Privacy Policy). You confirm that you have the right to upload each statement and receipt, for example because it's yours or your client's and you have their permission.

Don't upload anything that isn't a financial statement or a receipt you have the right to process, anything illegal, or malware. Don't try to get round the upload limits or the page balance, test or attack our security, or use the service to build a competing product.

Pages, plans and payments

• Doctelligent is paid in pages: each page of a statement or receipt that is read uses one page from your balance. One that fails to read uses none.
• New accounts get free pages once. We may limit or stop free pages to prevent abuse.
• Packs are bought once and their pages don't expire. Plans renew monthly or yearly and give pages each month. A month's unused plan pages end with that month. Top-ups can be bought while on a plan, and their pages end with the plan month after the one they were bought in.
• Stripe is the seller of record, through Link. Purchases show as "Sold through Link", your card statement shows LINK.COM*, and Link sends your payment receipts. Payments, payment receipts, taxes, refunds and disputes are handled by Stripe and Link, under their terms.
• You can cancel a plan at any time from the account page, or at link.com. It stays active, with its pages, until the end of the period you paid for, then ends. We don't refund part of a period.

Price changes

We may change prices. For a plan you're on, we'll email you at least 30 days before a higher price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does. A price change never applies to a period you already paid for. New prices for packs apply to purchases made after the change.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Doctelligent available, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change features, and we'll tell you in advance before removing anything significant you're paying for.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from the account page. Deleting it removes your statements and receipts (see the Privacy Policy for what's kept). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or to protect the service or other users. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund what you paid for pack and top-up pages you haven't used.

Liability

Doctelligent is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't give any warranty that it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, or for losses that come from relying on results you didn't check (see "Check your results"). To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Disputes go to the state courts in Stark County, Ohio, or the federal courts for the Northern District of Ohio.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using Doctelligent after that, you accept the new terms.
